Before smart phones, I used to write things on my hands to remember them. Today I did it again for the first time in ages.
When I was in College I came up with a theory, or at Least a Question:
Does your perception of time change how long you live?
For example, setting your hand on a hot stove seems like forever. Some classes you take drag on and on… (And yet, the weeks go quickly– Especially with Boring and Repetitive tasks.)
So– For people who feel like the days are long- Do they Physically feel it too?
Does your body’s clock reflect on it’s physical clock?
I think that it must.
I have a new Theory to accompany the one I created in College:
AT THE MOMENT THAT I CREATED THAT THEORY, ALMOST 10 YEARS AGO,
My life was split into three different Alternate Universes. One, in which I believed that time was going quickly. Another, where I believed that time was dragging slowly. And A Third Universe where I am presently Watching the other Two Universes to collect data.
I think it qualifies as a Single Blind Experiment until now. Or, If I am the Third Universe, Then It’s a Double Blind Experiment! Huzzah.
You can guess the rest of it.
I will forever hang onto the concept that Life is Calculus based: All of the Infinitely Small things Added up are the Bulk of Everything.
